Lucas Wolfe is an American race car driver based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He competes primarily in the central Pennsylvania area in his own car, the 5w.
Early in his career, Wolfe excelled in Quarter Midget racing, becoming a champion multiple times between 1993 and 1994. He transitioned to 600cc micro sprint cars in 2001, winning accolades such as Rookie of the Year at Linda’s Speedway and a track championship at Trail-Way Speedway in 2002.
From 2003 onwards, Wolfe moved up to 900 horsepower winged sprint cars, achieving notable victories at venues like Williams Grove Speedway and Silver Spring Speedway. His career highlights include becoming the youngest winner at Williams Grove Speedway and participating in the Red Bull Driver Search.
Wolfe joined the World of Outlaws full-time in 2008, earning Rookie of the Year honors despite a mid-season injury. He consistently ranked in the top ten in points standings from 2009 to 2012, amassing 22 race wins and numerous awards for qualifying and passing.
Beyond the World of Outlaws, Wolfe has raced internationally in Australia and New Zealand, showcasing his skills in both 410 and 360 cubic inch sprint cars.
Currently, Wolfe continues to pursue excellence in sprint car racing, building on his extensive experience and success in the sport.
